I really appreciated your kindness in sharing the sugar mill history with my sister-in-law, Jane Green (Traverse City, MI) and myself, Pat Peiler (Nanakuli, HI). It is wonderful that you are so interested in keeping the Waialua Sugar Mill history alive! I will continue to search and visit with relatives to see what artifacts they have to share for your history collection. I will also send copies of the old pictures I have of Adolph Herman Peiler, blacksmith of Koloa (Kauai) and Waialua (Oahu) plantations (latter approx 1908-1918). His son, LeRoy Peiler was also prominent in the Waialua sugar mill history.
A hui hou,
Pat Peiler
